I have a Asus p5vdc-mx with Celeron D 341 64-bit 1 gig ram 120 gig hd
I have not been able to get past the select language screen on Vista clean install. It pops up and freezes the keyboard. Upgrading gives me a 0X0000007B error after the first reboot(18% in unpacking files, then it says it needs to restart).
Are there issues with motherboards that have RAID(SATA)? Mine is disabled in the bios since I only use IDE.

Vista beta 2 no go
I've been seen this alot with the same error problem I to am having the same problem. Alos I to have a Asus p5vcd-mx with a pentium D and 1 gig of ram and 200 gig hard drive. I not real sure but It seems like maybe asus bios has a problem with vista. I can't for sure but it seems like a lot of people that is have this problem have a asus motherboard. I to wish to get some help on this if any one knows what is wrong

If you are trying to use beta 2 I'd like you to try a newer build. Especially build 5744 RC2 if you have access to it
